Prime Time Emeril by Emeril Lagasse (2001, Hardcover, Illustrated)

I do not claim to be a gourmet chef but I do love to cook and being an avid viewer of the Food Network I often watch the Emeril Lagasse cooking shows. I purchased this book mainly to have on hand so I would not be having to write down the recipes as I watch but rather to have the recipes in front of me to make special notations on those exta little tidbits of information that he gives to make those POW creations. It works great for me as I'm sure it would work great for you to cause that POW explosion in your own kitchen.

I haven't tried any of the recipes in this book yet, but have some flagged to try. Have company coming from the east that want some cajun food while here.

If you've seen Emeril Live on Food Network and wanted to try some of those types of recipes, then Prime Time Emeril by Emeril Lagasse is for you. I am a fan of Emeril and I bought this book to make some of his gourmet recipes at home. The recipes are written with simple directions. Some ingrediants are a little expensive, but keep in mind that some of these meals might cost you $75 to $100 for two people at one of these fancy restaurants. So, making it at home will save you lots of money. I enjoyed reading this book. My only complaint is I don't have Emeril to cook it for me. I would like to see more pictures too. I love this cook book and recommend it to everyone who enjoys eating. I made the creole seasoning and use it on everything.

I loved his TV show but could not try to write down all the steps to make a dish. The show was just fun to watch. This book explains much more than I could have wrote down.
