Pride and Prejudice
Review created: 03/15/09(updated 05/05/09)

I bought this book for school as I have write an essay about it. I have heard of this book my entire life and I am glad I took the time to read it.
This story is very interesting and has a lot of humor. It's about the Bennet family and the mother of the family is trying to get her 5 daughters married. The mother is mainly interested in getting her daughters to marry rich men but things don't always work out that way. Elizabeth and her father have a great sarcastic sense of humor that will make you laugh.
The main characters are Elizabeth and Jane Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy and Charles Bingsly. They are the lovers in the book. I experienced great pain and great happiness reading this book.
The book's title truly says it all. It's filled with prideful people, prejudice attitudes, tons of gossip and judgmental ideas. It truly is a good read.
What I dislike about the book is at times it is very difficult, until you get used to it, to tell exactly who is speaking or who is being referred too because most of the characters are Mrs. Last name, Miss Last name, Mr Last name.
