A soothing CD to listen to in traffic. Also excellent at calming down rowdy 3 year old boys!! You can remember and relive certain scenes of the movie when you hear the music - you may not have been consciously aware of the music, but you remember the scenes when you hear it. A must for those who love this movie!

Captures the music of the period beautifully. The music goes so beautifully with the movie, you'll be able to see right where the story is based on the track you're listening to. Unlike many soundtracks, it doesn't have "clunkers" or tracks that cause you to lurch arcrss the room to skip tracks.

A beautiful OST, a must get for romantics who love music, Pride and Prejudice, and the movie. The tracks are lovely-- you can actually feel the countrysides of England by your feet as you listen to the gorgeous piano pieces and if you can dance like Liz Bennet, you'll love the dance pieces!!

I bought this cd because I love music from the classical and romantic eras, and after watching this movie, I wanted to get it. The piano on this soundtrack reminded me of Debussy, and is one of the most tranquil collections of songs I’ve ever heard. The only downside I have of this soundtrack is that it seems to short. It is still relaxing to listen to the album several times.

I adore this movie and therefore love the soundtrack. Make note that these are the songs written for the movie! Most of the ones fans will want to hear or on the cd (namely "Dawn" the song Lizzy plays at Lady Catherine's), but the traditional songs like those played at the balls are not included. If you enjoyed the music in the film this cd will be a great addition to your collection.

I cannot review an item that I have not received yet.
I won the auction on January 2nd and I sent the money order on the 3rd.
I have contacted the seller at least six times and all I get is the
formatted response telling me to fill in the information and they will
get back to me. I have done this and still have not gotten a date as
to when they sent me the item. I asked them to answer me like a normal
person and all I got was "we did answer you". I do not believe that a
formatted response telling you to fill out a form and we will get back
to you in 3 days is the way to do business. Especially, when they
never get back to you.
