Prey (Xbox 360, 2006)

After playing the demo, Ive seen alot of neat features that the game had to offer. I then checked videos of gameplay to see what the full game is about. I liked what i've seen and decided to give it a try. What I found was just an ok experience all the way through. It wasnt the worst game I ever played and certainly wasn't the greatest game or even a good game. The story was very vague and didnt fit at all with the characters. The action was very limited and repetitive. The flying of your spacecraft was boring, annoying, and just wish it wasnt in the game at all. Speaking of annoying, the "puzzles" of going to the next rooms were too vague and I had to resort to looking at cheat videos on youtube just to pass them. All in all, the game as I said was just ok and thats saying alot. The ONLY thing that saved this game from being atrocious in my book is the cool features of the rooms like portals and gravity tracks. The game is easy and short as well.
