Prevention's the Sugar Solution Cookbook by Ann Fittante, Julia VanTine-Reichardt (2006, Book, Illustrated)

I bought this book for Christmas for my diabetic step dad. When he got it he started looking through it right away and found some recipes that my mom had been looking for to cook for him. They love it and it is perfect for them. We did not dislike anything about this book. It had pictures and everything. The book is great.

The Sugar solution Cookbook is very easy to use. A person is not set to a strict regime using their program. The program is very easy to custom fit anyone's life style. I have found the recipes delicious and satisfying and the portions adquate to stave off hunger.

The cookbook is really good for someone who wants to control early diabetic tendencies. The beginning is well written,easy to understand, and gives lots of general information. Good for anyone who wants to start a diet that's not too intense as well. The recipes are easy to read and prepare, and the pictures are very helpful. Well worth the investment.

It is a great book w/ vaulable information on maintaining a healthy diet and taking the sugar out of the american diet. It contains information that one could find on the internet or elsewhere. Its worth the read and great to have handy.
