These books are notable for the beauty and creativity of the projects a prime consideration when selecting dried-flower books. Le Bailey has many small projects for cards, bookmarks, and framed items such as pendants and paperweights. An annotated list of plants used in the projects is included. Carver's book has projects using the unusual technique of gluing natural materials to fabric in designs reminiscent of fine embroidery. Although the work is painstaking in its detail, the effect is stunning. Both books are full of inspirational ideas for the experienced dried-flower crafter.
