In The Presence Of Mine Enemies by Harry Turtledove (2003, Hardcover)

I love what if books. This book is about what if Germany had won World War II.
The time period is set approx about 2010, where we have people living decades after the war. The main character is a man who to all appearances is a good german, he is an officer, and family man. But this man has a secret he is a Jew and so is his family, the story explains how he has survived undedected and continues to survive. The book really drew me in and made me think, how would you survive a regime that wanted you dead simply because you exist. I am now a Harry Turtledove fan.
