I have had this book for about 7 or 8 years, and absolutely LOVE it! I pull it out frequently to look at for art, manipulative skill, and fun activities for my daycare kids. As a matter of fact, as I sit here, I have at least 8 activities earmarked that I have done or would like to do.
Not only does this book have numerous activities for kids in the kitchen, but it also has ideas for encouraging reading, writing, and arithmetic, bringing out creativity with music, art, and drama, and lots of unique ideas for holidays and other special days.
And there's even more! There are a number of recipes for craft paint, playdough, clay, and other exciting things for kids to keep their hands busy with.
Why stop here? There's more! Yes, more! There are ideas for stocking craft items, ideas for helping to alleviate boredom with preschoolers, and so very much more.
I would highly recommend this book for any mother or person who works with children. The ages recommended are from 3 to 6, but many of the activities can be tailored to meet the age of a younger or older child. I do believe you would be very pleased with the helpfulness of this book!
Thanks so much for reading my review, and I hope you decide to buy this book and enjoy it as much as I have.
Sincerely,
Mrs. skywalker_track
