Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle by Fred Stoeker, Mike Yorkey, Stephen Arterburn (2003, Paperback)

I bought this book while waiting for a plane. I read it in the air and I was close to God anyway. I always feel close to God when I travel by air simply because your at 25,000 feet and there is no gaurantee of a safe landing.

I have often considered the reality of having children and the difficulties responsible parents have raising children. I once met a man who told me the meaning of life and these two topics encompass my thoughts and will be the basis of my book someday.

After reading this book, I know what the author, as a Christain, believes is important to young ones regarding his beliefs.

This book is well thought out and informative in many ways. Read with an open mind, as all books must be, I believe the reading is worthwhile as a guide for others of similar persuation. I also believe the book is worthwhile as a guide to understanding to those who may not share any of the authors particular beliefs.

Overall I rate this book a 10.
