Praying God's Word by Beth Moore (2000, Hardcover)

I think this is Beth Moore's finest work. She has put the Scriptures in modern-day language and it is obvious that she believes in the power of the Word as found in the Scriptures. This is a timely contribution to Christian books for today's world.

I do think it was very helpful and comforting, but I personally like to refer to the King James Version only. I respect and enjoy hearing Beth Moore teach. She is awesome and I recommend her teachings to everyone and do not want anyone to feel discouraged by this review but just wanted to point out the fact that when you use only the King James Bible, this can be very confusing and I like to memorize scripture and trying to memorize these scriptures prooved difficult for me.

This book was quite timely! I was appreciative that the author used different versions of the Bible in the scripture section of the book because the wording of the scripture in a different version other than KJV can just "grab" you and give you a dose of reality as to the seriousness of your problem. The issues covered are also paramount issues in our society today as they were during the Biblical times and the author does not flinch in her approach to the issues and and what one must do to break free from these types of strongholds. I like that she presents the background and detailed description of each stronghold in great length and presents just as many if not more scripture references for prayer and meditation. I recommend this book to any student away at college or to anyone who has been struggling over time with issues that seem inescapable.

This book is so good I have been buying copies to give away. This book helps focus my prayer life and gives life because it is the living word of God.

I borrowed this book from a friend. It was so helpful I had to buy my own copy! It is a must-read book by Beth Moore. Her personality is amazing. I have read other books from her as well. This book gives you a new way to look at things in your life. I recommend it to anyone!

What can I say? I have yet to read something by Beth Moore that is not awesome. This book is very insightful and I learned a lot. It's a book to buy, not borrow, as you will want to read it again and again.

While I lost a previous item I bid for, this item was slightly higher in price. However, it was mailed quickly and was received in good condition. I can highly recommend the seller and the book. I appreciate e-bay's manner of conducting the sales.
