) I had this little book for years and gave it away. I decided I did not want to be without it so I bought more books - one for myself and a few others to give to friends and family members.
At every opportunity, we should pray for America. Many people do not know how to pray for our nation so this little book helps to bring our leaders and our nation's issues of concern to God. He is our Creator, and He is concerned for us. He cares about America, our Leaders, our Congressmen and Senators, our Judges, etc. This books helps us to know how to pray for our three levels of governments - national, state, and city.
Pray for Our Nation is a book I would not be without!!!!
I highly recommend this book to any buyer who is concerned with America's future. Muslims are called to pray to Allah and do so daily - Jews pray to God at their Wailing Wall and do so daily - should not this Nation continue to pray to God, too. Never has this Nation been at a greater risk to suffer violence and lawlessness, and as our daily news broadcasts show - those who do violence, and blatantly disregard the laws of our land, are celebrated on our morning and nightly news. We are the silent majority - but are we prayerful? Do we know how to pray or do we get confused because there are so many things grabbing at our attention that we become prayerless for our Nation! America sends violence and lawlessness into the world and thinks nothing of it. I do not claim the morals of our movies, and neither do you I am sure. However, the rest of the world thinks we are a nation of excess without any morals!
Prayer is the only thing that will change America. Let's undergird America with our prayers!!!!

) I bought this book because I am alarmed at the active forces at work slowly, but effectively drawing our nation away from God. Four hundred years ago in April, 1607, the first settlers to America landed in what is now Virginia and the first thing they did was dedicate this land to God. I firmly beleive that like God gave Canaan to the Israelites, He gave America to Christians to found a society based on freedom in Him. The parallels in our history and that of Israel are too great to ignore. And now we are once again turning from Him and worshiping the false God of "political correctness" I needed the book to help guide me in effectively praying that America will learn from Israel's history and repent and return to God before His wrath and justice can no longer be held back. The prayers in this book are specific and timely and have definitely helped guide me in my prayer quest as I lift our Nation to God begging for mercy and a mighty spirit of repentance. Every Christian should make this a priority in their personal prayer life and every church should do the same at times of public worship. Only God can reverse this trend, but He needs our prayers to release His power. This book will guide you and inspire you as you petition The Lord to save our nation.
