Good reference book

I bought this book a couple of months ago strictly for reference and have used it 3 or 4 times. Some of DeCarle's narrative is good and to the point, while at other times, he gets way too deep into a subject for someone who is only a "hobby" watchmaker. It's the same with his book "Practical Watch Repair".

De Carle's writing has the respect of the field and his books can be found on the shelves of every serious repairman of important watches and clocks. They are priced at a bargain compared to other books on the subject.
