Another Great Book By Karen Harper

This is one of the series of books by Karen Harper about Queen Elizabeth. I have found this series to be a wonderful way to bone up on English history. Ms. Harper had done her research to write a series of totaly believable historical novels.
In this book Princess Elizabeth has jsut been released from the Tower by her half-sister Queen Mary. Young Elizabeth struggles with a plot to murder all Bolyens "even the royal one". Who is the poisoner in this book? Could it be Meg, newly come to Elizabeth who is under exile in the country under the close supervision of the Popes? Meg closely resembles Elizabeth and is being taught by another newcomer, the actor Ned, to Elizabeth's "court". Who is the poisoner working for? Could she just be working on a chance remark of Bloody Mary or directly under the Queen's orders to harm her heir?
This book is a fascinating glimpse into the royal life of Elizabeth Tudor.
