The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-Traction (Nintendo 64, 2001)

This is a wonderful little game for N64. I bought this for my grandson, over my daughters wishes, cause after all,"its for GIRLS". This is for a six year old boy, who has been to 'DEATH MOUNTAIN' with Link on Zelda, and fought every monster in the path of Brian, to save his father, on Quest 64. I noticed after his first year in school, how involved he had became in these characters. He was playing these games ENTIRELY too much, and would take the adventures to school with him. We sat time limits, but We had to literally shut the games down, over his screaming objections, when his time was up. We tried to get him involved in other activities, including T Ball, drawing and painting,racecars and blocks but NOTHING we tried would take the place of his heros. I noticed during cartoon time how much he LOVED watching "The Powerpuff Girls", and when I saw the game on auction on eBay, I decided to bid; over the objections of my daughter. The game will hold his interest for a little while, cure the video madness, then thankfully, he's willing to move on to something else. Thankfully, I still have my daughter and my grandson; after this drastic move of rebellion on a grandmothers part; and I dont have to watch the blood and gore of MANY other games he was beginning to enjoy. This really is a mild, but challenging game for a young mind. STILL,it's a fact; EVERYTHING should definitely be done in MODERATION!!
