Product Description
CNet's PowerSWITCH SH-1080 is a multi-purpose switching hub supporting both 10Mbps and 100Mbps Ethernet speeds. Designed for the large department or growing office, the PowerSWITCH SH-1080 provides a separate network segment on each port, greatly reducing collisions and increasing network speed. Eight 10Mbps 10BaseT (UTP) ports combined with two multi-function 100BaseTX ports offer the greatest versatility for network configurations. The 100Mbps ports support the NWay standard for auto-negotiation of 10/100Mbps network speed. All ports feature switch-selectable full-duplex, doubling throughput when attached to another full-duplex device. The PowerSWITCH SH-1080 can be located in either a network rack or placed on a desktop. Front- panel LEDs clearly show network status. The full-range power supply is suitable for use worldwide.
