This book is awesome and my husband and I can tell you first hand about the power of prayer. We were given The Power of a Praying Husband/Wife and were both so encouraged by the books that we now tell others about it and lend out our own copies. When we bought The Power of a Praying Husband this time, it was for my husband's uncle who was going through a rough time in his marriage. This book is for those who are having trouble in their marriage and for those who have everything going right in their marriage. It is a book that never gets old no matter how many time you read the book or pray the prayers. It gives powerful insight into your spouse that helps in so many ways.

I like the introduction which included the author's own relationship challenges and how she and her husband together are trying to bring understanding into marital relationships. It is a battle. Men and women are different, but God makes the difference. I sent a copy to a friend overseas because I thought it was so good! It's refreshing to hear openness and honesty that gives me hope!

) I bought this book for my husband because I loved her book "The Praying Wife". I read it three times and it gave me so much help and peace during my hard times with my husband. I thought this would maybe help my husband with understanding me as a wife. He really seems to like it. She is a wonderful author. Have read three of her books and loved them all. They really helped me put things in perspective and realize I have faults too and it really helped me with how and what to pray for. I would highly reccommend this book!!!!!!!

A group of men use this book for a Bible Study and it works great. Some cheesy examples, but overall it is very worthwhile. The author makes me think about praying for my wife in ways I had never thought of before. Helps break up "usual" prayers I say that get sort of boring.

I bought this book because it sounded interesting for my husband to read. Basically so he can know me better emotionally & spiritually and can pray for me for the weaknesses I have. It just sounded like an excellent book and I wanted to purchase it for him. He has yet to read it (We have been busy) But he will one day and I'm sure it will be great. It's a cute and convenient little book you can carry with you. Thank you. June 9th 2008

I bought this book for my husband, because the wife's bersion is saving my marriage after an affair he had. It not only helps him, but I bought it also for his friend who used to condone his affair. The friend has now broken up and fired the woman he was seeing, is going back to his wife too and has copied and enlarged pages of this book to tack up on his wall. Mind you, this friend used to pay for prostitutes. The power of prayer is amazing and Stormie put your thoughts into words.

I have read this book several times and I can recommend it to any man married or not. I think the insight into some of the differences between how men and women think is very useful and helpful. The need to pray for your spouse is key to any relationship. This book helps men to see not only the importance of praying for their wife but also helps the man to understand how his wife views things differently than he does and therefore shows guidelines on where she may need prayer the most. The companion books "Power of a praying wife" and "Power of a praying parent" are also very good books but I think this is the best of all three. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
