The Power Of One [Digipak] by Israel Houghton (CD, Mar-2009, Integrity USA)

Once again, Israel has put out another winner.This artist keeps getting better and better.I have been a fan since his first CD.But with each release you see this atrtist grow and dig deeper and deeper in a way that helps the listener grow and want to dig deeper as well.Anyone who knows Israel's music knows that he is truely a gifted and anoited musician.His music always glorifies GOD.But Israel's music touches you in such a unique way.The words are so beautifull they open your heart.You don't just listen to this music,you feel it,you get lost in it.This music transports you to the heart of GOD.Israel seems to experiment with a few different sounds or rhythms on this CD.He seems to be taking you on a more flavorfull journey.I'm not a musician so I can't elaborate more than this.But, I think it's safe to say there's certainly a track here that will attract or pull at anyone to listen for a while.Then you know what happens.The words or the message gets you.You're hooked.Next,you'll be saying "oh I just love this song".My favorite tracks on this CD are MOVING FORWARD and I RECIEVE.I get lost in worshipping with these two songs.The eyes are closed, the arms are raised and spirit gets filled.This is good stuff for sure.When I'm driving in my car I seem to play the tracks SURLEY GOODNESS and SAVED BY GRACE alot.The beat or the rhythm is faster on these two tracks.I play these two when I want to rock it out a little.I've had this CD for about two weeks.I love it.I highly recommend this or any of his other CD's.
