Power Hold'em Strategy by Daniel Negreanu (2008, Paperback)

Just off the bat I want to say I read the first 100 pages of the book. It gave me several new ideas to the game and how to play. Before I would rarely even get to the final table but now? heheh... I won 2nd place last night (never done before). Anyone that wants to get that extra edge on the table... look no more and get this book!

Read about half of it and loving it changes your thoughts on the game when your at the table/online.

I realized I needed a lot of help with my poker game, this book has helped tremendously and I don't use that word often.

This is along the lines of Doyles two books power system with different authors contributing a chapter.

I like the fact that one section deals with a beginners strategy to tournaments that actually works well. In fact Evelyn Ng claims to have used this in a WPT event and I think she finished 2nd in that event.

It also includes a section on cash games, my areana.

Lastly it has a section on "small ball" poker. This is a great strategy employed by Daniel. This is about 1/3 of the book & it goes into great detail.

Over all I think it is a very good book.

I haven't finished it yet, but good reading so far.

Well worth the price of admission.

really good book great read, best thing after the super system 1 and 2, easy to follow, the secrets that the poeple in the book are really valuable

If you are just starting out playing poker or you are a seasoned pro this book is a great read. It will help you with all the situstions you may incounter and a soild stratgy for playing serious power poker... Trust me you will win if you follow this books advice. So pick up this book any we will se you at the tables.
