Postcards of the Waffen SS Series Cards

The Waffen SS postcards are scenes of the German select military division. There are many scenes shown including burning villages, horses, tanks, and soldiers. Each page has a code for the postcard and a picture of the front and back along with captions.

6-Waffen SS in Battle
7-Police in Poland and War Winter Help

The authors have included sections on printing and font variations, fakes and forgeries, and other Waffen SS postcards under study. The sets 1, 2, and 7 are real photo postcards. The 2-6 sets are artistic postcards. If the postcards from the first two sets are lithographs, then they are forgeries. Check under a lens, if they have a dot matrix, they are lithographed forgeries.

The book is beautifully made with glossy pages. The authors have devised a useful code for collectors. If you are a serious collector of these series, you should invest in this book.
