Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely valuable asset to someone with a little motivation to save themselves some hard earned money!

I thought I needed this item. I didn't, really. The Haynes manual has many inaccuracies, and you'd be better off using online resources, such as rennlist, and by acquiring the Porsche 944 Workshop Manuals.

This manual has some useful information, however it leaves out many issues that are useful to the average do-it-yourselfer. The interior and motor section seems basic and primitive to me. If your looking for clear and precise instructions and help this is not your source.
