The meat of the game is a very well-executed platformer, where you'll guide Mail, a devoted bounty hunter, around level after level defeating enemies and collecting gold and special items. To keep things interesting, the game also throws in just enough rpg elements to round out this unique hybrid. The game also features almost 3 full hours of voiced dialogue and 20+ minutes of cinemas to help the story unfold. You might think that since the game tries to fit into two different genres at once that one side might suffer because of it, but you'd be wrong. As spot-on as the control in the platforming portions of the game are, the rpg elements are just as well done. If you can appreciate the slightly off-beat humor of the game, and just enjoy it for what it isl, then you'll love Popful Mail. It's one of the most unique and enjoyable games you can get your hands on for the Sega CD system.

Popful Mail for the Sega CD is a must have addition to any collection. If you are a fan of cartoon type rpgs then this is the holy grail. Over 2 hours of spoken dialogue. Plenty of FMVs', multiple character control, and a outstanding story line to boot. Game play is a side scroller with no tricky controller configurations. Plenty of hidden items, and bonus beat this game in a certain number of hours see a hidden ending!!

Popful Mail is a rare classic RPG by Working Designs. This game offers great sidescrolling action along with character development to create a unique gaming experience. There are many animated scenes to involve the player into the story.

As one of the rarest Sega CD games out there, this one ranks pretty good in my book. Popful Mail is full a unique gameplay and the music is pretty addictive as well. The art is pretty nice and there are hours of audio video clips throughout the game. The main character Popful Mail can get annoying at times but by the middle of the game you'll learn to love her introduction "My name is Mail Popful Mail!" All in All this one is worth picking up especially if your a game collector.

This is a game that I always want to play when it first came out caus of the graphics and i'm a fan of adventure games. The game play is great and fun to watch If you like adventure games this is the one to play.

not just this game (timegal) but all the other rare sega cd titles ive puchased i love them,i remeber having them when i was younger now wishing i would have hung on to them,ebay is one of the only places you can find rare and hard to find video games
