Popcorn Dragon by Thayer (1990, Paperback)

Teachers children to get along with others and to accept their individual talents without showing off. I had a copy before this and use it in my pre-k and kindergarten classes. Also good for Science because of Science of heat making PopCorn - At the end of the story the dragon, who just learned how to blow smoke, falls asleep in the corn field and wakes up to the smell of popcorn, then makes some for all of his animal friends.
