Popcorn (DVD, 2001)

This is a lesser known late 80's horror flick but one it the most fun. I loved this movie when I was a kid and it's just as good today. And the main villain in the end is actually really really creepy. Good stuff.

Very underrated horror movie from 1991. The movie has a creepy atmosphere to it and the storyline and acting are decent. A group of film students decide to have a fund raiser Horror-thon in a local theater and discover an old '60s cult film called the Possessor. The Possessor was created by a murderous madman who locked himself, his family, and all of the theater patrons at the films premier showing. But did he die.....? That's for you to find out in one of the better horror movies of the early '90s. A few TV spots and trailers included on the DVD.

Very rare film to find on DVD so I decided to add it to my collection when one came up for auction. I saw it when I was young on VHS and never forgot it. It stayed with me growing up. A cult horror film that has some good twists and turns. It starts with film students starting up an abandoned movie theater and some weirdo starts murdering people and wearing their face as a mask. It is a cool movie!

I remember this movie because it's nostalgic. I like the clips of old black and whites shown within the movie. Kelly Jo Minter and Jill Scholen are also good young actresses.
