Okay, I must admit, I bought this on a whim. I was a member of one of those DVD clubs and needed a couple of DVD's to fulfill my commitment. My toddler had Winnie the Pooh books, and as nothing else stood out - I bought this!
WOW!!! Am I glad I did. This has become a true favorite and not only does my toddler get the pleasure of watching this, but I get the joy of watching her reactions, and nothing can beat seeing her jump up and down screaming with happiness as 'Lumpy's' mommy turns up!!
With a running time of just over an hour, this is not the longest movie, but certainly the right length for a toddler; in fact the time frame of this movie is probably why children are so engaged from start to finish!
It features all the classic Pooh characters, besides our main character we find Tigger, Roo and Rabbit. But more than the old favorites, it is also heartwarming - a story of friendship and is certainly joyful. However it also sends a message - teaching us not to judge others and jump to the wrong conclusion. Prejudice is wrong and this movie certainly, in its innocent and child appropriate ways reminds us of that!
As an extra bonus we have the additonal features of the DVD, one of which includes a game of hide and seek where you can use your remote to help your child find Roo and Lumpy! The game is a lot of fun and even though, after a few plays, the answers start repeating, toddlers will still find this feature endearing!

This is a cute Winnie the Pooh story about the creatures of the hundred acre woods adventure to catch a mean and horrible Heffalump. Roo and eventually all find out the Heffalump are not big and horrible but rather fun and playful! A great story about learing to accept others and challenging streo-types and rumors.

Lumpy gets a Friend

This time it is little Roo who goes on a big adventure and finds the heffalump all the other one are afraid of. It is interesting to watch as the dynamics of Pooh and friends show their various character traits in search of the heffalump. It might be a touch scary for the very young, because as they go through the woods, there are noises and shadows, but very minimal. Mostly upbeat because Roo has such a positive attitude and that is inspiring to youngsters who want to overcome something they might be afraid of. The interaction between Roo and Lumpy is quite interesting, and he shows through love and acceptance that things can be very different than what his friends imagined it to be. I had to watch this several times with my younger grandkids because they had exhibited a little fear, until we talked through some of the parts so they understood what was going on. After that, they didn't need me around, because they got it, and were telling me what was going to happen, and how, and to watch what the reactions would be. Engaging, entertaining, and delightful, along with Piglet's Big Movie, this is another keeper!

This was a good movie, one that we could take to Daycare and all ages of kids could watch and enjoy. It was watched a few times, then forgotten and more exciting movies took it's place on the favorites list.

GREAT MOVIE WITH WONDERFUL MUSIC AND THE SWEETEST NEW CHARACTER TO THE HUNDREED ACRE WOODS. My daughter is 20 months and absolutely loves this movie. She requests to watch it all day long and even sings the songs when not watching it. Very cute. This is the only movie she will sit & watch from start to finish, and then want started all over again.

This movie is one that I just had to have. I combines an excellent moral with classic disney animation techniques and above average music. The story is engaging, and the characters (being Pooh and his friends) are of course lovable.
I first saw this movie on "on-Demand" for free and loved watching my son watching it. Since then, we've ordered it several times and unlike some childrens movies, it has not grown annoying to the adults. I'm sure all you parents out there know exactly what I mean. That makes this a piece of pure GOLD!
Buy and enjoy. Preferably with your child.

My two year old daughter loves this movie, and I like it too. The story is entertaining with good values, and the music is good. I don't mind listening to it over and over. My daughter also loves the hide and seek games that are in the special features section. Also the movie is truly a G movie with nothing to frighten a two year old. Our whole family give this movie two thumbs up.

I purchased this movie for my preschooler who is easily frightened by movies. This movie is great because there are almost NO scary parts. The scary noises and scenes were quickly resolved with a not scary cause. It was easy to talk my child through the movie so as to feel comfortable to watch it. Very very sweet movie.

I bought Pooh's Heffalump movie for my daughter's 3rd birthday. We had rented it and she loved it, wanted to watch it over and over again. I knew that she would be excited to receive it as a gift. She has watched it many times since her birthday. It is her favorite movie.

i like buying things on ebay because its cheap, but most of the time you have to check the feedback % of the seller so you can make sure of what you are bidding. Some items are fake and the seller are not very detailed on what they are selling. So Feedback is most matter for me.
