Movie Description
Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the Hundred-Acre Woods are back in the holiday-themed adventure POOH'S HEFFALUMP HALLOWEEN MOVIE. Heffalump, introduced in the previous Winnie the Pooh film, has now become a full-fledged member of the animal community. Roo and Heffalump are planning on going Trick or Treat for Halloween until rascally Tigger tells them about the "Gobloon," a monster that transforms those he catches. However, should the Gobloon be caught first, it will grant its captors a single wish. That night, after Pooh eats too much Halloween candy, Roo and Heffalump decide to sneak out and investigate the story of the Gobloon. But what will happen if Tigger's tale is true? POOH'S HEFFALUMP HALLOWEEN MOVIE is appropriate for all ages, and features one of Walt Disney's most beloved casts of characters.

    Having discovered our toddler LOVED the original Heffalump Movie, we decided to try the Halloween Movie.
    This movie which has a run time of 67 minutes features all the old favorite again such as Pooh, Tigger and Piglet but again we see and focus upon the wonderful friendship that Roo and Lumpy share, and that is very endearing! This time, however we have the halloween theme....pumpkins, lanterns and trick or treat. We found that our three year old loved it, though some aspects were a teeny bit scary, it certainly was not too intense.
    This movie is often criticized for combining an old Disney movie - 'Boo to you to Winnie the Pooh' into the new, thus making it cheaper for Disney to produce. However for the audience for which this is intended, older toddlers and younger kids, this fact means little and the movie will captivate...however slightly older children familiar with the earlier move, may be disappointed with the repetition!

    The movie was really adorable, but it did still have an element of scare. Especially in the beginning with Tigger and his dramatic explanation of the Gobloon. My 3 and 6 year-old's watched it and I think because I was there with them the first time and laughed through most of it to ease their minds about all the craziness, they were OK with it. Otherwise, I think it might have been a little over the top for them. Nightmares were expected.
