Polk Audio PSW10 Subwoofer Speaker

Keep in mind that this is a lower tier sub made for small to medium sized rooms...after you get that in your head then you can forget about all that. Nevermind that most sub $200 subwoofers sound boomy, rattly or even anemic...the Polk audio PSW10 isn't one of those. If you have a fairly small listening area then this sub is all that you need...it won't blow the high dollar big boys out of the water but it's a perfect complement to a moderately priced home theater setup. This sub does a good job with bass lines and drums..but it really shines for Blu-ray watching. It provides tight bass without overpowering the rest of your speakers or getting lost like some cheap subs. Overall, I can't imagine finding a better sub for the price. Go for it!

Compared to an older Klipsch that was 12" and fired down, the Polk was cleaner, buy not as powerful and lacked punch. Probably a decent choice for a small room, e.g. bedroom, not so much in a large home entertainment room.

The speaker is in the condition advertised if not better!
The box was a bit flimsy, but the packing material easily protected the speaker.
The speaker sounds just like it would as brand new!
The price was very reasonable and the shipping was properly calculated!!

Had purchased Polk RM6600 speakers two years ago and never used them. When I did hook them up I need to ad a subwoofer. The PSW10 was a natural match. Just what I needed to complete my room surround sound.
