Has very good sound quality. No distortion. The highs are a little brassy.

) Theses speakers are a pretty good deal for the $. Nice crisp highs and fair mids but poor bass. The Polk 50s' are not the speakers to choose if you are counting on them to be your main source of sound but are very good for use as a rear speaker or used with a nice sub.
