The Political Zoo by Michael Savage (2006, Hardcover)

For that reason alone I love listening to Michael Savage. He doesnt pull punches and he calls a spade a spade, no dancing around the issue. Anyone who really listens to him will find themselves agreeign with him more than they think they will. This book does not dissapoint he makes fun of the politicians and shows them to be what they are.

Great book. Savage shows his genius in this funny and informative book.Between the Hollywood left and the media there is no shortage of humor.Savage once again thrills his readers.

OK I bought it, my son took it home before I had a chance to open it up...he loved it and it's making the family rounds. I'm sure I'll get it back sometimes. So far, everybody love it!

listening to his show on talk radio is just a sample what you might read in his books; so if you are a liberal, be open minded for once and realize god,family,borders,language & culture are important!!!

I love this book. It is truly a 1 of a kind. It is a savage opinion of many of the different political personalities. Also the book is extremely funny and at the same time you might even learn something if you are not careful. It is written in short stories of different personalities in the political arena. The short stories allow the opportunity to spend time with Mr. Savage in his Political Zoo and learn about 1 or 2 of his characters in just a few minutes. Ya'll enjoy now.

I have listened to Michael Savage's radio program occasionally, and although he gets carried away at times (who doesn't), I enjoy the fact that I'm vey much aware that I'm listening to ONE MAN'S opinion....and actually enjoying it. He is an entertainer first, and a commentator second and his newest bestseller, The POlitical Zoo, does not disappoint. He takes on the persona, through cartoon type pictures followed by a one or two page commentary, of a zoo tour guide, taking the reader to visit a vast number of current American political players cartooned up in the form of various animals. He attributes THEIR characteristics as the animal's characteristics, all the while, giving us his opinion about how effective, I mean, how INEFFECTIVE they are in the political landscape today. VERY funny, and a VERY easy and fun read. YES, you can pick up the book to look at the pictures, they are worth the price of the book alone! A book really has to "move" me to be considered "excellent 5/5", but this book is a fun read all the way through. Don't take things too personally, even though Savage makes many good points and observations, its JUST a book, and JUST one man's opinion. Enjoy! Its well worth picking up!

I bought this book to counter the liberal attacks from TV, newspapers and left wing extremists who call themselves Americans. I like the book because I live in California, which has a majority of liberals who think they are smarter than Republicans and that anyone who is not a Democrat must be a sheep. I bought this book to make myself feel sane in this insane world of liberals who do not tolerate anything that remotely resembles conservatism. I bought this book because unlike liberals I support marriage, military, right to life, conservative values, smaller government, and lower taxes.

The book contains many personal profiles about people you only hear or read about and is very entertaining.

Humor mixed with real life, and right on evaluations of all the persons of subject in this book. As always Michael Savage takes away the arguments of the left by putting truth in their face. Politicians on both sides, watch out, Michael Savage will cage you in reality.
