Police Confidential by Danny Quatrochi (1986, Paperback)

This book is written by Danny Quatrochi who went from roadie to technician to friend and confidant of the members of the rock band Police. Many of the photos have handwritten notations. It begins with the album Zenyatta Mondatta and ends with Synchronicity. It also includes photos taken on the movie set Dune. They are great candid shots of the group working and playing both in color and black and white. A must for Police,Sting,Andy Summers or Stewart Copeland fans but equally enjoyable for someone with interest in photography. I myself purchased it as I am a Police fan but my photographer friend loved the photos. This ia a photo journal - on the road with police there is no writing except for the handwritten notations next to the photos and an introduction written by Sting. Lets hope for a Police reunion soon!
