I needed a new digital for ebay selling. I was looking for an inexpensive camera. I found this model on eBay for under $50. I sell mostly jewelry and need a camera that can take close-ups that are NOT blurry. This seems a bit beyond the abilities of this camera.
In general it takes good photos, not the highest quality but it is a good value for what I paid for it. If you want super clear, high resolution don't get it. If you want it to photograph your kid's birthday, vacation or garden, it would be a good value.
The software installed easily and uploading the photos is simple. This would be a great starter camera for someone wanting to learn how to use a digital.
I would reccomend getting rechargable AA batteries for this as it eats batteries quickly.
