I use this for a utility type player in my gym. It has AV outs and will also play CDs. So far it has worked fine for what I use it for. I imagine it would be nice for trips. I have not had a chance to see how long the battery last though.

Great picture on this player, so you don't have to listen to your children whine about seeing the movie! Great sound, compact, lightweight, and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this player. Very nice.

POLAROID PDV-0713A PORTABLE DVD PLAYERTHE DVD PLAYER IS GREAT MY SON LOVES IT. IT PLAYS REALLY WELL, NICE PICTURE AND EASY TO USE. I DECIDED TO BUY THIS ITEM CAUSE I WANTED IT FOR MY SON BIRTHDAY PRESENT AND I DID NOT WANT TO PAY THE STORES PRICES.

I will say that this DVD player is very good in quality along with it picture definition. I do not like the fact that there are small pieces that tend to be broken off inside the laser compartment.
