Polaroid DPA08055S 8 in. Portable DVD Player with Screen

This was given as a gift. Wonderful product. Offers games and watching dvd movies. Very easy to set up in the car. Great player for any family looking for DVD player.

My kids love it, i bought it because we usually take long trips on weekends and now they don´t get bored. They are very happy and i am too since i can keep them still now .....a good buy.

The unit in question never worked out of the box after multiple attemps to get seller to do the right thing with not one responce decided to write it off and buy another one from amazon.com do not buy this product

MY GRANDCHILDREN AND ALSO MY STEP CHILDREN ENJOY THE PLAYERS IN THE CAR. THEY HAVE FOUND THATNTHE TIME GOES BY FASTER WHEN THEY ARE EITHER WATCHING A MOVIE, OR PLAYING GAMES.

I bought it for the grandkids. yes I liked it. I did not like that they were not both players one is only a screen. I guess that was my falt. I misunderstood the add.

I purchased this unit to have in my car for travels with my grandchildren... this has been a wonderful thing to have in my car....it plays well and we have had no problems with it....

This is a very good DVD player for you car or van. The only thing that could improve on it would be wireless. I wish they would come out with a wireless DVD player so you don't have so many wire connecting the set.

I bought this dvd player as I already have bought two at full price and they did not last...so I thought I might as well save money buying a cheaper one due to it being listed as "USED". SHOULD HAVE BEEN LISTED AS BROKEN. However, I got this item and it will not stay on...it turns on and off randomly and in order to solve the problem......I have to pay to ship the entire item back...So now I paid for shipping here and the price of item...now investing more money to ship it back. Besides that.......I dont trust the seller now...so my costs to have a working dvd player OR MAYBE ANOTHER BROKEN ONE.....will be that of the price I would have paid for a brand new single dvd player like my daughter originally had. No savings there and I am out almost 70 dollars for a broken dvd player when I could have bought a brand new one for 99 dollars. At least the cheap 99 dollar ones last a year....this one did not work from day one!!!!!!!!!!!!

It keeps a four year old Great Grand Son busy while we take him on trips with us, much better on our nerves, lol.. Plus we have one on both back seats makes it great when we have more then one Grand child with us..We were lucky to have a radio in the car when I was a child..

I liked the price and the rush on getting the player. I bought it for one of my sons teachers; she has kids and has no time to her self on throad to and from school and we thought this would help her(she needed it). I had to return one; it never worked on the second screen. They refunded me my money and the second one makes loud sounds and freezes on most tapes at various times, but...

You get what you pay for as they say!

What I like about this dvd player is that one can play games while the other person can watch a movie.Cons volume is not very loud.

My wife and I broke down and got a mini van:( So I tried to spruce it up with some extras. We have four kids that are impossible on trips so we agreed on a DVD player. We looked at all the retail stores and compared that to Ebay and the retailers couldn't come close to Ebay. So when we found a dual screen dvd player for under $90 bucks we jumped on it and I would say it gets used about every day! The kids love it, we love done deal.

I bought 2 complete sets the first one did not work on arrival. After a lengthy refund process. I received a refund. My daughter then ordered another set from them without my knowledge and it worked for 1 week. Then after another lengthy refund process, I received another refund. I went to Wal-Mart and bought one. This seller is ok, but you jump from website to sign in page to authorization code page and back again for a simple yes I can return. Too time consuming for me. Bad luck both times and no I will not buy from them again.

The DVD player worked fine at first but in the car when you go over the smallest bump the movie will start all over again from the beginning. I would not recommend this for the car.

i bought this product several weeks ago and was so excited to have for my grand-kids. Sorry, can't give a good review ,because it didn't work even a day and it quit. we can't return the item because it was bought as a gift and was not played prior to the return policy, lesson learned. always play items to make sure they work and don't quit before the return policy expires....

The only reason I gave this product a poor rating is because I can't give it a worse rating. Worst piece of Junk I have ever purchased. On our first trip after installing this piece of junk, it quit after 5 minutes. had to restart player over and over and over due to it constantly stopping and the screen going blank. Tried numerous dvds. Didn't matter. It worked equally bad each and every time. Wouldn't even recommend this product to my mother in law. Polaroid really put out a 1st class piece of junk here. They should be ashamed to have their names on it. You couldn't pay me to take another one!!!!!

The player is simple to operate. I like the fact that you do not have to take it off the headrest to put in a new DVD. The straps are a little cumbersome for vehicles with more narrow headrests. The trick on headrests like that is to criss-cross the straps. Otherwise, this player is excellent at keeping the attention a 2 kids while traveling on the road. I would recommend for anyone to buy.
