Good Camera, Bad Customer Service, Bad Shipping

Polaroid camera is fine. However, seller promised in the auction to ship the camera by UPS, insured. Due to the proximity of my address, that would have meant the camera would have arrived in 3-4 days at most. And I told seller up front in email that we needed the camera to ship right away as this was a time sensitive transaction.
However, seller decided (without warning) to ship by regular mail, uninsured, despite the commitment made in the auction itself. Camera arrived very late, far too late for me to get any use out of it as it was intended for a special event.
When confronted with this issue, seller refused any compromise, and insisted that they "did what needed to be done to make the sale happen". After repeated attempts to discuss the issue with seller, seller continued to refuse even the least bit of compromise or acceptance of any responsibility for their misrepresentation of the shipping method.
In fact, seller even went so far as to call me a liar for claiming the auction said UPS, when anyone can look at the auction and plainly see in two places the auction committed to UPS shipping. And seller threatened that if I dared give them a negative comment, they would make things worse for me than it would be for them!
All I wanted was the camera I paid for, shipped by the means specified in the auction.
Seller is new, so maybe they made a mistake in posting it as UPS shipping? But when confronted with their mistake, this seller should have made good on the error and offered something in recompense for the mistake. That's just simple Customer Service 101. You don't call your customers liars and threaten them when you make a mistake, you make up for the mistake and apologize.
