The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg (2004, Hardcover)

This book is a classic and has been a traditional holiday read in our home since our first son was born. The illustrations are enchanting and whisk you away on the train itself making you feel as if you are in your pajamas too on the adventure. I will always have copies of these books on hand to give to young ones as I truly feel it is very unique and special as both a holiday story and containing some important lessons on virtue.

Awsome book and audio ....a must have for those who want to teach there children the meaning of Christmas...........

I bought this for my "young at heart" 47 year old sister. She is a school teacher and all the kids love this movie. Now they have seen the "bell" that Santa gave and they too - BELIEVE - THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR THE GREAT GIFT AT A GREAT PRICE. My sister said it is PRICELESS!!!

We went on the Polar Express out of Williams, Arizona and they read the book and have to walk up and down the aisles for the patrons that don't have the book. We bought it so we would have it next year!

I have always loved this book. I use it in my classroom every year. I love to build on the ideas and activities and add more each year.

Saw that the book was available now as a Movie. Was something that was based in my home state. New technowledge of film making. Price was right compared to those in main bookstores or at collectible places.

Great book. Has the cd, tape, book, and the bell. This is a great story to read to my students and remember always believe.

Great book; I purchased it for my grandson who loves the story. I am sure that he will enjoy it. The service was fast, and the condition of the book was great. It was a much better deal than purchasing it in a bookstore.

This is a classic book that I knew my grandchildren would enjoy years from now.Even with the shipping cost, it was so much more reasonable to purchase it on ebay.

I think it's a classic movie. I wanted to have in my library to have an annual Christmas activity with my grandchildren. My plan is to decorate the tree, pop some popcorn, brew some hot chocolate and watch the movie.

I was disappointed that the movie did not get here until late on Christmas Eve. It was supposed to have arrived by Dec. 22nd.

I love this gift package because it is a very thoughtful, yet easily purchased item. It can start a tradition for some families who decide to read it every year on christmas eve.

Great story for adults and children. Used it in my preschool and we did a pajama party, and had hot cocoa, etc. I gave each of the children a bell and it was wonderful!

I bought this book, cassette, cd, and bell for my grandson this year. He is 3 yrs. old, so the perfect age to start a tradition of sharing this with each other for the holiday. We watched the movie together, and I gave him the bell. We snuggled up and read the book, and looked at the beautiful pictures. The cd or cassette is a great addition for him to listen to and look at the book.

We love the book! We are taking our kids on the Polar Express Train ride for Christmas, and reading the book with the kids on the train ride is part of the expereience. The pictures and the story are wonderful- We love listening to the story in the van while we are riding.
