Great insight on all of the most common poker games.
Comes with a cheat sheet for Bluffing, Money management strategies, and Poker Etiquette.

I liked that the book was informative and you could skip around but this book is only for beginners. Mid level players won't really get much out of it. Upper level players shouldn't waste their time. If you are a beginner then by all means read it but if you are looking to improve your game from the basic level then stay away. Also, get a recent edition...mine was way too old.

I am a beginner poker player and have been watching alot of poker on t.v. and wanted a referance guide to some of the terms that sound different. This pocket referance guide is just that. I enjoyed reading it and with it being pocket size can slip it in my purse and go to it fast to get information. The only thing that I did not like about this referance guide is that it mentioned different types of poker such as stud, whaich was a little to take out of the context. Over all, for the beginner, I would recommend this book.
