Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia (Nintendo DS, 2008)

My children love this game. It keeps them busy for a long time. I bought it for my son as a birthday present.

I just started playing this yesterday. I'm a huge fan of Pokemon and this game throws a whole new element at you. After spending countless hours playing Platinum, Ranger is a great sidekick. Granted, it's not a good nor as much as a staple Pokemon game like the main versions, but it does prove to be a great "companion" so to speak. Implementing new stylus use as well as field-ability Pokemon moves, Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia s a breath of fresh air.

Game works as expected. Quick shipment. We enjoy playing this game, but you need to use the stylus. We don't have a stylus so it's bit hard to play. Now we have to buy a stylus.

If you or your kids are as crazy about Pokemon as my family is...this is a must have. My daughter wanted this game for Christmas, and my son had to have one for his Birthday!

I bought my son this game to be used on the DSI. However, it does not work at all. DSI seems to recognize the game but it just will not play. I updated the firmware for the DSI and it still wouldn't work. I took it to Game Stop both the game and the DSI and they told me the Game is bad. I am really disappointed and so is my son.

I don't have to pay full price and it works the same as if it were new. I decided to buy it for my 8 year old son who seems to go through quite a bit of games. When he is done with them I'll turn around and sell them back on ebay. It's a win win situation.

Kids love playing this game. It's challenging for my kids, so they don't get bored easily. Cousins would loved playing it. So decided to buy one so the kids could play. After the kids have done their chores they get to choose which game to rent for the evening to play until they earn their own.

I bought for my son, that have a nitendo ds. He loves it. I live in Brazil and here is expensive this game.

The kid can't put the game down... One positive is I never have to wonder what he's doing. Best advertisement available, i think.

I would rate this game as good and as described. The level of difficulty is as presented. The gaming experience is also good and as described in product literature and other reviews. The age rating is appropriate for this game. There is both excitement and some predictability as found with other Pokemon games. This game was bought for my fourth grade son, and he thoroughly loves it.

if you have a Pokemon fan for a kid, this is a great gift. it has lots of little games and features. if you already have a diamond or pearl game and another ds, you can open special missions.
