Pokemon Platinum Version (Nintendo DS, 2009)

Beware when your buying a game that is used or that comes from Asia specially if you buy it for a DSi. There's a lot of fake copies out there that will work on a regular DS but not the DSi (Nintendo changed the system so bootleg copies will not be read).

Total scam. Seller "no longer registered"

Why didn't I get an e-mail or a warning or something. I was just buying a game for my kid. I don't know what they are supposed to cost.

i cant explain how happy i am this game is awesome and i saw some new features in the trailer. i had pokemon pearl but i gave it to my cousin and he lost the game thanks alot i am so happy

I love this item for my daughter, because it is loaded to the max with awesome Pokemon and Items and Bonus Event Items you can't get anywhere else. It is great for a Birthday, Christmas, special day gift or just plain giving yourself a Pokemon treat you deserve every once in a while..... Seller is highly recommended.......

This is an excellent game for Pokemon lovers. The game was easy to play and has a lot of very interesting and different moves. Although, the characters/letters are in Japanese version it is still easy to follow. I would recommend this to others that likes Pokemon. I decided to by this game because I like collecting Japanese stuff and I like Pokemon.

I RETURNED THIS ITEM TO THE SELLER, AND GOT A FULL REFUND FROM HER. I KEPT THE ITEM SEALED IN IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGING, AND I NEVER OPENED IT. HOWEVER, I COULD TELL THAT THE LABEL WAS NOT THE AUTHENTIC NINTENDO FOIL LABEL. ALSO, THE AUTHENTIC NINTENDO BOX IS THIN AND BLACK. THE BOX SHE SENT ME WAS THICKER AND CLEAR. I WENT TO TOYS R US, WALMART, K-MART, AND TARGET TO VERIFY MY FINDINGS.
I WAS CORRECT THAT THE ITEM SHE SENT ME WAS NOT AN AUTHENTIC NINTENDO FOR DS GAME.
SHE WAS VERY COOPERATIVE, AND REFUNDED THE ENTIRE AMOUNT THAT I PAID HER. SHE ALSO STATED TO ME THAT SHE KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT WHAT SHE IS SELLING, AND THAT SHE WAS UNAWARE THAT IT WAS A BOOTLEG ITEM.
I EVEN EMAILED HER PRIOR TO BIDDING, TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT IT WAS AUTHENTIC, AND SHE ASSURED ME: "YES, IT IS JUST LIKE IF YOU BOUGHT IT AT WALMART". (NOT SO).

I've been playing the Pokemon series since Red and Blue came out (not counting the pinball, trozei and dungeon series) and Platinum is great. I feel like the developers are almost running out of ideas though (How many friggin' Pokemon can there possibly be?!). They still manage to put out games that are definitely a step up from the last.

If you're a Pokemaniac like I am, then there's really no need for you to second guess whether or not you should get this game. Do it now!

Kid love it. He likes it because it had lots of characters to choose from. Pokemon is one of his favorite games and this only makes it better.

FUN game for all to play - if I could ever get it away from my 9-year-old!! Arrived fast in excellent and ready to play condition.

1. THE GAME DIDN'T WORK FROM THE GET-GO AND IT WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED. IT DIDN'T COME IN THE ORIGINAL CASE AND IT WAS NOT SEALED, GIVING ME THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WAS NOT A BRAND NEW/NEVER USED GAME.

2. MY GRANDSON WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE GAME DIDN'T WORK.

OK SO I WASN'T IN THAT BIG A HURRY FOR IT ANYWAY SO I DIDN'T CARE THAT IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET IT. MY GRANDSON TRIED IT IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT NINTENDO GAME PLAYERS. HE DIDN'T TELL ME RIGHT AWAY THAT IT DIDN'T WORK SO I DIDN'T TRY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE SELLER UNTIL 7/28/9. HE NEVER RETURNED MY EMAIL. I DON'T KNOW IF HE'S ON VACATION BUT IT IS NOW 8/9/9 AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM. I WILL NOT GIVE HIM GOOD FEED BACK. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE MANAGED TO GET 100% POSITIVE FEED BACK

This is a great game for any Pokemon fan.If they enjoy watching then on television they will enjoy playing them.

Awsome game!! no doubt but dont buy from Honk kong or China they are selling fake's + defective the one I bought freeze when I save + book and labels are printed.

Im not sure how different the gameplay would be compare to Pearl and diamond but i love the new features including the new dimensional world you can travel through. An exciting new pokemon game then then the first two. I would like to see how different it's gameplay and difficulty will be in this game.

Probably the greatest game series ever made for the Gameboy in my personal opinion. Right up there with all the Mario games. Lots of replay value and will keep you occupied for hours on end.

BEWARE of fakes. I bought mine from wholesaleworld2009 and he sold me a complete FAKE. Luckily I threatened to file a claim and he gave me a full refund. I recommend just paying the full price at any legitimate retail store (Gamestop, WalMart, Best Buy etc)

PS. If it says it doesn't work on DSi or it's from Hong Kong, DO NOT BUY.

i bought the Pokemon Platinum Version for Nintendo DS/LITE and the game was like he said, in very good condition, other than the label missing on the game and the label missing on the box, also i loved the name he gave the main character, a lil offensive to most people but it makes playing the game more amusing. well you get what you pay for and i payed $10 so what did i expect? i cant complain

I've been a big fan of all the Pokemon games that have come to the UK, and was especially impressed by the Diamond and Pearl games. Then the third game of that series was released: Pokemon Platinum and it's every bit as cool as Diamond and Pearl were and so much more. Including such features that weren't available in Diamond and Pearl such as being able to catch Dialga and Palki in the same game instead of needing to trade. There is room for improvement I feel, since it is still impossible to catch the rarest Pokemon without going to an event and since I live in the UK these events truly are really impossible to get to. But as a whole this game is still amazing and I wholeheartedly recommend this game to any fan of the Pokemon franchise!
