Pokemon: Mewtwo Returns (DVD, 2001)

This is a great movie where Mewtwo is once again trying to be captured by Team Rocket lead by the boss "Giovanni". Just when Mewtwo finds a peaceful place on-top of a mountain, Team Rocket finds him and tries to re-capture Mewtwo, at the same time, Ash and Friends try to free Mewtwo and to restore peace,but the only way to recover Mewtwo is to make him recover his strength is to possibly contaminate the beautiful lake that could be crucial to future Pokemon research...will Ashand Friends be able to help or will Giovanni take Mewtwo as his own? The only way is to watch this great movie.

This is a neat follow up to the Pokemon First Movie. It's really hard to find though! Especially as a DVD and from the U.S.!! If you're a Pokemon fan and you have a chance to pickup a copy--do it!!

Any Pokemon fan would enjoy this movie and me, being a huge fan of Mewtwo, liked it especially. Definetly worth it, recommended to Pokemon fans!

This DVD includes the rare special of Mewtwo returns that was supossed to be the fourth movie but only made it as a DVD outside Japan. It is the sequel to the first movie. The plot is about Mewtwo and his clones defending themselves from the whole Team Rocket army. The DVD also includes the even more rare Origin of Mewtwo special which would be the prequel to the whole story, before the first movie.

I loved that this DVD in particular included spoken languages and subtitles in English, French and Spanish.

My 7 year old grandson wanted this DVD for his birthday and he loved it! Very happy I could get it for him.

Mewtwo is my favorite Pokèmon ever! I wish that it was more episodes on tv or an other movie with Mewtwo or Lugia! Here in Norway isn't it nothing, only on sundays!

My son is a huge pokemon fan and we are collecting the movies. If you have a pokemon fan, then they will love this movie!

It continues the story of Mewtwo, where we left off at the end of Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back. In this movie, Mewtwo's creator Giovanni, has finally found him and the other clones, and tries to regain control of him no matter who he has to go through to do it. Ash, who taught Mewtwo that every life is precious, no matter how it enters the world, ends up in the middle of their war, this time on their side, trying to help Mewtwo and the clones defend the only home that they have had since the first movie. I have no dislikes about the movie, and love the ending. (I won't spoil it for you.) This is a good movie that is appropriate for any age. (I'm 32.)

my son has been wanting this movie. He still hasn't watched it because i am giving it to him for his birthday.

The fourth Pokemon movie, but a sequel to the first movie. This one is about Mewtwo and the clone Pokemon living peacefully on an island but their lives are disrupted when Team Rocket locates Mewtwo and tries to capture him, along with the clone Pokemon, so they can use their island as base of some sort. Ash, Mitsy, Brock, and two scientist try to stop them and protect the land. I won't reveal anynmore, but that's the main plot of the movie. It may be a good idea to rent this one before buying it but I recommend it to all Pokemon fans.

I'm alright movie, I mainly got it because I'm collecting the Pokemon movies, but I do like it. The DVD also includes a story on Mewtwo, a bit of a prequel before the first movie.
