FR is a remake of Red version for game boy advanced.
It's just about like the red version as far as storyline and such. The graphics have been updated, you can be a GIRL! It shows you were you last left off after you turn it on, a GREAT feature if you loose it and forgot where you were! It has better pokemon boxes and pokemon icons!
This totally blows away red version (in terms of graphics, etc.), but you cant beat a classic!
