Pokemon Blue Version (Game Boy, 1998)

The game that took a generation by storm! If you want to see where it all started with Pokemon, then you'll have to buy this game and Pokemon Red!

I give this a 5/5.
Pokemon Blue has a few diffrence's from Pokemon Red.
So if you enjoyed PKMN Red and Yellow you will enjoy Blue.
If you or your child is a Pokemon Trainer, you must enjoy catching pokemon, So if you have Red, you NEED Blue to complete your pokedex on Red(And Vice Versa).
I am 17 years old and I played these games when they came out, I then sold them, 5 years later I realized that I had made a mistake and now I am buying every pokemon thing I can find, Moral of the story: You can enjoy pokemon at ANY age. Try them out, from PKMN Yellow to Platinum, these are all fun and I will probly play them till the day I die.

On the description, it states that it works fine, however, when you save your game, turn off the gameboy, then turn it back on, your saved game is gone

I love this game. I never had the blue version before but I did have the red one. However I gave it away and kind of regretted it so I figured I'd go for one that I hadn't had before and went for this blue version. I am very satisfied with the game, it actually saves :)!!! The label is peeling but that is a minor detail as its quite idenifiable by the fact that it is blue. Delivery was quicker than I was expecting. Overall I'm very pleased!

this is a classic game. everyone who was old enough to play it when it first came out remebers the sensation that this game caused. its still fun to play even today. oh and by the way there is a way to get MEW on this game.

I like the fact that the game was in excellent condition considering its age. I dislike the fact that the game came with no instruction booklet and box. Tha game also saves and it never froze on me in the middle of game play.

came quick an was exactly what i wanted. was in perfect contition which i was suprised because its an older game.

I got this game way back when it came out as a gift, and since then I can honestly say that ive never sold it, lost it, or not played it because it was boring or frustrating.

5/5 on fun factor- Great game, doesnt matter if its your first time through or 15th time its still fun. Also its always a great excitment trying to catch all 150 pokemon (151 with mew). You can play against friends very easily also which is great.

4/5 on graphics- Not great now a days, but when it came out it wasnt to bad. Its not to dated because most know what to expect from original gameboy games.

5/5 replay value- Like I stated earlier you can play this game several tiems through. Try different ways, see if you can beat it with only 1 pokemon. It has that rare replay value that the game doesnt really get old ever.

5/5 on Story- The story is good. Its not to complicating. Its mainly you start off with a rival and try to become the best pokemon trainer and capture all the pokemon.

Great game for my son and great dealer to deal with. My son really likes it and has played it since he got it. Bad thing is these type of games are getting older and harder to come by.

This is a great Pokemon game-You get to face 8 gym trainers and get to compete in the Pokemon League-Also, you get(as always) your own Pokemon to start out with and your Pokegear. You will also get the chance to catch all the original 150 Pokemon to train and battle with. Beware of Team Rocket though-You will definitely enjoy all the towns/cities, the shops, people to meet, and most of all, all the Pokemon you'll meet and rivals for life.
I personally believe this would be great for someone who can read and is about ages 8+. It can also play on the original Gameboy, The Gameboy color, Advance, Advance SP, and more.

Perfect condition, awesome game, brings back memories. Pokemon blue is definately one of my favorite games ever. Goes perfect with pokemon stadium on the N64 so if you get this and still have an N64 you might wanna pick up pokemon stadium too.

This game is so great that even though it's 11 years old, I'm assembling a lot of copies so me and some friends can all have a back in the day old school pokemon tournament. Yeah it's nerdy but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.
