Finally, something I WOULD wear in crochet!

I bought this hoping to find something I could really use and wear in public that didn't look like an old granny. Two of the styles I didn't care for, but everyone has their own tastes, right? I was very impressed with the book and the pictures and eager to start a new project. Book has some new fitting techniques for shaping and other ideas I can use on other projects. And the wire binding so the book lays flat is nice, too. I would definitely recommend this book to others. I hope the author writes more. This is a great stride forward for plus sizes!

This book has some good points and some not so good. I like a number of the patterns very much. There doesn't seem to be enough "non bulky" patterns though. I also think there should be fewer shawl and bag patterns to be in a book for plus size ladies. After all, a shawl, is a shawl--save these patterns for another book.
All that being said, there are a number of patterns that make this book useful for the larger sized lady.
