This is hands down my favorite Jazz CD of all Time. It is not fast and up-tempo, but it's always on the move, with a melodic sound and easy driving beat. Every track is something you could play to someone that doesn't listen to Jazz and they would have to sit back in their chair and close their eyes to imagine a far-away escape.
I couldn't put in to words how enjoyable this CD is to listen to. It's sort of like the best romantic melodies of Charlie Parker recorded in a modern studio.
If you have a high-end audio system and want to show it off, this is the CD to own. Crisp Bass, incredible Percussion (You'll love the Vibraphone), flowing piano and the most effortless saxophone performance you will ever hear!
