Love Chet's guitar playing on the familar hymns. His guitar playing adds a new dimension to the hymns. I remember listening to Chet play guitar on TV and I still have one of his 33 1/3 records. Will be looking to purchase more Chet Atkins CDs.

Bought the CD even though I had the record, the tape and a CD just like it. My love for Chet developed over 50 years of learning his guitar style and learning how the man lived his life. He "spoke" eloquently through his music and his life. I love gospel music, I love the guitar. I mostly wanted a CD for a "master" so I would never lose the album. Over my lifetime, I have bought around 125 Chet records, tapes, CDs and I have NEVER been disappointed!

favorite artist hard to findSound quality is excellent.
I can't think of anything i dislike about it except that i wish there were more songs on it, even if it had cost more.
I bought it because I was looking for classical country insturmentals.
Chet Atkins was my favorite insturmentalist.

Chet Atkins CDI bought this for my brother-in-law for Christmas. He really has enjoyed it. He loves Chet Atkins and with gospel music. That just makes it all the better.

Chet AtkinsI've always admired Chet Atkins music, his style, and his own unique sound.
This album is OK, but doesn't bring out the LIFE that he usually injects

Poetry In MusicNone plays a guitar like Chet Atkins!Put Chet together with the great gospel hymns and you have a match almost made in heaven!Beautiful hymns and the smooth,full sound of Chet Atkins' guitar,one can very much appreciate hearing what this recording has to offer!I do highly recommend this cd (or tape) to any fan of gospel music or giutar talent!
