This is an awesome album!! The second song, John The Revelator, is one of my all time favorite Depeche Mode songs, and Pain That I'm Used To is my second favorite on this album (also a generally great song). I love the depth and breadth of the music on this album. I love those two songs because they're heavy and yet melodic and have a dark, NIN/APC-style emotion to them. They're less 80s style than their earlier albums, so if that's what you like you might not like this album, but it's still distinctly Depeche Mode.
