The Best Reference About Fixing Player Pianos
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
Anyone who is interested in servicing, repairing, or rebuilding a player piano needs this book. Not only does it cover all the basic principles of operation and techniques required to understand and work on the most common player mechanisms, it also gives specific advice and, in some cases, warnings about problem player mechanisms that it might be wise for a novice to avoid. There are hundreds of illustrations throughout this 216 page book which augment the well-written treatises, making everything easier to identify and understand. It also has an extremely thorough Appendix, Glossary, and Index which are a must in any reference of this nature.
