) i have seen this series in tv many times in the past ten years. besides being a little outdated because of the speed at which we are learning more about the solar system. the series is informative and full of the characters that make up the planetary scientists. it gives you an overview of the past 60 years in planetary space exploration, going planet by planet. i have wanted to buy it for awhile and finally found a price i was willing to spend. it is now part of my scientific library of dvd's and books
