So, after prince's loony 90's he came back with a rock inspired album but also, a lot of soul here. Ok, he is a little bit mad even now, but that doesn't mean he can't write good music. Planet earth, guitar, mr goodnight, futurfe baby mama, lion of judah, resolution, all great songs. This album is a must have for everyone who loves prince in any way.

Bought this just to add another great addition to my *Prince* collection! It did not disappoint -- (Prince never does)! BTW, I was glad to find it available on eBay!

Great CD. It has a blend of traditional off the cuff Prince lyrics and music blended with todays Hip Hop sound. Prince is still a master at great ballads.This CD is an example of a musical genius transcending and blending styles from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today.

After some time away from the music scene - maybe after a journey across the universe - Prince got back to his homeland - the Planet Earth with a new album which reflects his well known enigmatic and uncomprehended character. The album cover itself is a good sign of that character.

The songs from this album is a pure continuity of his typical work: a blend of amazing dancing tunes with powerful ballads, made for true fans and not really intended to hit the pop charts. It's one of a "Love It or Leave It" kind, and maybe this is why this album is so brilliant. I stay with the "Love It" one.

Prince is a multi-instrument player who drives audiences completely crazy with his astounding and well-produced performances, fully capable to turn a rock arena into a huge dance floor. With this record, more quality music are added to the concert lineup with success guaranteed (or your money back).

My highlight on the ballad side goes to "Somewhere Here on Earth" and for the dance side goes to "The One You Wanna C" (a title which is entirely written in the Prince way - remember "Nothing Compares 2 U"?), tracks number 3 and 4 respectively.

Again, it is good to hear Prince back in form. I am a huge fan and new music from the master always excites.

This album connects from cut to cut and has constant jams back to back.

I have this CD in my car, back-to-back with last year's 3121. This one isn't as good as 3121, though it does have some great cuts. You can't help but like the rockin' "Guitar", as well as the ballad "Mr. Goodnight." "Future Baby Mama" is also a great tune. I just kind of miss some of the more uptempo stuff that's on 3121, and other great Prince albums. Don't get me wrong though. This is still Prince, and even his mediocre stuff can blow most artists out of the water.

I am a hugh Prince fan, but this album was only moderately good. There is some songs with familiar Price sound, but overall nothing to get overexcited about. If not a Prince fan, you probably will not like it.
