Pitfall: The Big Adventure (Wii, 2008)

This game is fun and it does sort of take you back to the original Pitfall but... This disc is suppose to have 3 games on it and there is only 1 and it isn't what you are hoping for. Some of the moves do not work the way they are suppose to and it is not as close to the original as you would hope for. So it is a nice game but not exactly the best game for people looking for an old school flashback.

I bought this game because I loved the original Pitfall. The graphics are great and the game is an absolute blast. Make sure you have alot of time when you are ready to play because it is very addicting.

Fun Game. I bought it for my kids, but also for a little nostalgia. I had the original games for my Atari 2600 (yes, I make dirt look young) and it was kinda cool to share that with my boys. The game has a story line, but it can get a little convoluted. My boys just skipped the story boards to play the game. During game play their are some definite point of view game control issues. There is one part of the game that we struggled with for days (okay, nobody in my house is a gaming god) because the point of view controls made it almost impossible to accomplish the task in the given time. Overall we like the game and I would say that I would say it is worth a look. If you are an accomplished gamer, you may just want to rent or borrow. You'll probably fly right through the game since it is pretty straight forward.

I was a fan of the old Atari Pitfall from years ago. I saw this game and thought it would be fun and sort of like the old game. I was completely wrong. Although the Wii pitfall does include the old pitfall on it, which at times is hard to figure out how to start the game. The new pitfall is hard to figure out what you are supposed to do. From the start of the game and hitting the tiger to make it die and everything after that. This is not a game to purchase if you want to have fun, but more a game to purchase if you want to keep going on-line to try to figure out where to go next. I keep getting stuck everywhere in this game. It will truely frustrate you!!!! I keep going back and trying it but I just don't get too far.

The kids love it. They wanted it for a longest time. Great game. It keeps them laughing and spending time together. Birthday gift.

my daughter loves the game,and i liked the price. The game was just as described, challenging and fun.

Good adventure game. My kids will play it for hours if I let them! A step beyond the old PC game, which we used to have. We wanted to buy it because we liked the old game. We weren't disappointed.

Pitfall: The Big Adventure (Wii) was a fun and enjoyable game for the whole family. Everyone in my family really enjoyed it.

I used to play Pitfall on the Intelevision back in the 80's. So, I just had to get the updated version of the game. It is so much fun and hard to put down. My 3 year old thinks it is a funny movie.
