Truly a big disappointment for the marketing hype given on this film.
I never saw a camp pirate until I saw this film. While Johnny Depp does it tongue in cheek (hopefully) it still could not redeem the film.
The plot is basic and simple, the filming professional, the special effects normal for this age, and the acting stilted and truly unbelieveable at times.
Good for children up to 10 who will enjoy its utter simplicity and a few skeletons dancing about.
