This book is a great way to spark an interest in the history of piracy or just be entertained. It does a great job of combining real history with imagination. The illustrations and interactive pieces are a fun way to keep you wanting more! Not only is the book enjoyable interactive, but you can even take the oportunity to decode a treasure map!

I love everything about this book. Im 23 years old and I bought it for me, it's awsome. I'm doing a bedroom in our house in nothing but pirate stuff. Perfect addition to the room.

Pirateology is a wonderful book full of "treasures" to discover for any young aspiring pirate. The "grands" love this one, and enjoy finding the clues inside. A keeper!

For the kids is very impressive book, actually much more then expected, I was surprised by quality of the text and drawings, printed on good paper. If your kid like pirates I would recommend it.

Good book for young kids. History is good and 3D effects are a great way to get kid's attenetion. I wouldn't buy used because the tassels will be untied and the flaps already flipped. This book makes me want to check out other "ology" books.

I decided to get this book because I Love Pirates. I think if I were born in tha time I would have been like Kira Knightly is in P.O.T.C movies. Sly about getting on a boat and pretending to be a guy so as not to get kicked off the ship. It was great. This book is interesting. Even I had to look under all the flaps and folds. I haven't read all the details but it's definatly worth the pennies.

This book follows suit in being just as imaginative and exciting as the other "ology" books. All will enjoy this book. For kids of all ages.

This book is amazing! Anyone who is into pirates or just wants to know anything about very famous pirates NEEDS to get this book. It has all the highlights of what is was like in that time and when pirates ruled!! Thanks so much!

This book was a great hit with my 12 year old neice, really a book for all ages. Extremely eye catching, and informative. Not only do the pictures and reading draw you in, it has activities to do, to get the full idea what a pirate's life was all about. Other books in this series are just as great.

I did not buy this book for personal useage, I bought it for my 11 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it.
